Tiger 1 - Pz.Kpfw.Tiger Ausf. E

Armed with a large 8.8 cm KwK 36 gun, 100 mm of frontal armor (120mm on the mantlet and 60mm on the sides), the Tiger 1 is one of Germany’s fearsome heavy tanks of World War 2.

I personally love its design despite the “boxy” appearance compared to other WW2 tanks. Quite ambitious, but I’m happy I was able to get it done— model-wise and texture-wise— as I thought adding a few more details (like Zimmerit and camos) in the future might still be a good idea. All textures are in 1024px because my computer can’t handle any more than that especially for a model like this.

This was done with the help of Maya, 3DS Max, Blender, UVLayout and Substance Painter. Rendered pictures are done with Blender.
